Design Challenge:
This law firm’s interior was stuck in the 1980s. Mauve, teal and powder blue dominated the decor and dated every inch of this space. The wall paper, broadloom carpet and aging upholstery were not impressive and were sending the wrong message to the law firm’s clients. The owner wished for a bright new look that is warm and inviting for their client’s and employees.
Design Solution: Molaia Design chose a paint palette of golden straw and apple green to compliment the multi-colored, non-directional, sustainable carpet tiles chosen by the owner. Ergonomically appropriate furniture upholstered in durable, yet soft fabrics of varying patterns was used in the reception area. A stain resistant, wool rug completed the look and unifies the color scheme. The employees and clients are now experiencing a breath of fresh air.
